The annual Give BIG! fundraiser is vital to the success of the public school system in our community. The roughly $324,000 raised supplements the St. Helena public school's core education with critical projects and subjects that students would not otherwise have, in order to equip them to become the future leaders of our community.

Projects funded through this Give BIG! campaign include enhanced curriculum (such as extra focus in science), arts programs, innovative educational opportunities, classroom materials, and valuable field trips. I believe the success or failure of our great state of California will rest upon the shoulders of these future leaders, and as a product of the public school system in the Bay Area, I believe that when today's students get this most important education it can impact us all. Please take a moment to contribute what you can — something big, something small — to help our students become better leaders in the future.

How are your donations spent? / ¿Cómo se utilizan sus donaciones?
The money that is raised is divided among St. Helena's four public schools and managed by St. Helena Public Schools Foundation and each school's parent-teacher group. Teachers (and even students!) apply for grants to fund innovative learning. Give Big spends more than $350 per student, per year. The monies raised pay for special instruction from visiting professional artists, poets, writers, scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. Funds go toward special training for teachers, amazing field trips (hiking in Yosemite, sailing in San Francisco, snorkeling on Catalina Island - to name just a few!) STEM learning tools, media & technology equipment, school celebrations & community events, fine art programs, and so much more. Thank you for your support of St. Helena's public schools!

El dinero recaudado se divide entre las cuatro escuelas que forman parte del Distrito Unificado de St. Helena y es administrado por la Fundación de Escuelas Públicas de St. Helena, el grupo de padres y maestros de cada escuela. Los maestros (¡e incluso los estudiantes!) solicitan becas para financiar el aprendizaje innovador. Give Big asigna más de $ 350 por estudiante, anualmente.
