The annual Give BIG! fundraiser is vital to the success of the public-school system in our community. The roughly $324,000 raised supplements the St. Helena public school's core education with critical projects and subjects that students would not otherwise have.

Our donations equip them to become the future leaders of our community.

Projects funded through this Give BIG! campaign include enhanced curriculum (such as extra focus in science), arts programs, innovative educational opportunities, classroom materials, and valuable field trips. I believe the success or failure of our great state of California will rest upon the shoulders of these future leaders, and as a product of the public-school system in the Bay Area, I believe that when today's students get this most important education, it can impact us all. What is GiveBig!?
GiveBig! is the annual fundraiser for St. Helena Unified School District.


How are your donations spent?
The money that is raised is divided among St. Helena's four public schools and is managed by the St. Helena Public Schools Foundation and each school's parent-teacher group. Teachers (and even students!) apply for grants to fund innovative learning. GiveBig! spends more than $350 per student, per year. The monies raised pay for special instruction from visiting professional artists, poets, writers, scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. Funds also go toward special training for teachers, amazing field trips (hiking in Yosemite, sailing in San Francisco, snorkeling on Catalina Island - to name just a few!), STEM learning tools, media and technology equipment, school celebrations and community events, fine art programs, and so much more.
